Since 2003, we’ve helped people define and build new brands, strengthen their current brand’s position or move forward from where they are.
We work with individuals, company founders, managing directors and marketing directors — in the arts, education, media, publishing, property, retail, technology, law, leisure and charity.
We have a few principles that haven’t changed since day one: to get to the heart of a client’s brand; to value words as much as pictures; to design, and write, clearly.

- We’re not keen on giving away our ideas in free pitches. They take time and experience to develop and that has a measurable value.
- We will never exceed our estimate for a project unless it’s changed in scale.

Steve Gibson, Creative Director
A childhood spent drawing and making stuff up meant all this was kind of inevitable. The only kid at school to combine Art, English and Maths at A level, Steve went on to study Typography & Graphic Communication at the University of Reading. He did time at London design consultancies, despite the crowds and the smog, and after seven years as a head of creative at one of Europe’s prime integrated agencies, he set up Gibson in early 2003.
Steve has designed and written for major brands like Adobe, BT, Cisco, Clarks, EMAP, London Business School, Royal Mail and Sony and brings that experience to every single client at Gibson.
